What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Supported Independent Living (SIL) provides assistance for people with disability who need regular support at home. This can include help with daily tasks, building life skills, personal care, meal preparation, community access, and overnight support. This includes assisting with and/or supervising tasks to help participants with their daily life to develop the skills needed to live as autonomously and as confidently as possible.
